I'm not finding any documentation on getting the source code to run for this tool if we download it from CodePlex. I'm getting 8 compiler errors related to not being able to find candle.exe... "WixDir must be set to a valid path in TFSAdminsettings.targets" Are there instructions on getting this to build anywhere that I'm missing?

The instructions will be posted to the project's wiki very shortly. Please take a look at these directions and let me know how these work for you.

You will need to download the following three tools:

FXCop 1.35 RC1, available at http://www.gotdotnet.com/team/fxcop
NUnit 2.2.7, available at http://www.nunit.org
WiX 2.0.3719, available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/wix/
Next, go to your TFSAdmin.Setting.target file located immediately under the TFSAdmin directory. You will find the following tags in the file (just search for the three tools listed above and you'll find them in the file)

<FxCopExtDir> </FxCopExtDir>
<NUnitDir> </NUnitDir>
<WiXDir> </WiXDir>

Set these properties to wherever you installed the above tools. For example, I have
WiXDir>C:\tools\WiX\2.0.3719</WiXDir>

Lastly, close and reopen the solution for the tool locations to be picked up.
