When I try to commit SharePoint role change on certain collections, I get the following error:

That looks interesting. It looks like we are getting a SOAPException when we are calling the SharePoint web method to add a user to a role. Could you answer the following questions so that we can try to narrow it down:

1) Does this issue occur for all team projects or only one?

2) Does this issue occur when you try add permissions for a particular user account or for all user accounts?

3) Could you please verify that you have the necessary SharePoint permissions described in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd547204.aspx

Thanks, Ladislau

It only happens on certain projects i the collection.

As far as I can tell all user accounts, but we generally use AD groups instead of adding users directly.

As far as I know they are all correct. We are using SP 2010, not 2007 though, not sure if that matters. I am personally in the Site Collection Administrators group (and a domain admin) and my account is faling.

Thanks, Ladislau
