Any update on a version to use with 2010 TFS RTM?

Microsoft is aware of this issue with the Forward Compatibility Update. At the moment the only alternative solution is to first establish a connection to a Team Foundation Server and run test after the connection has been established. The development team is currently working on a patch for this problem and when it will be released I will post a link to it on the project's home page. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks, Ladislau

I know you are not responsible for it but after installing Visual Studio Team System 2008 Service Pack 1 Forward Compatibility Update for Team Foundation Server 2010 on Windows 7 x64 and XP x86, I am not able to open the Test Results window or run tests from the GUI. I get an Exception has been thrown by the Target of an Invocation message and an OK button. I submitted this fact to the MSDN article on the KB feedback but am not sure where to report it as a bug otherwise. After uninstalling the update, the window will show and tests will run again.
Just FYI

It seems that 2.0 CTP Alpha is not working on x64 Windows system. (Windows 7 x64 + Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and Visual Studio 2010 beta installed).
Output log:
---------
08.12.2009 16:40:20: Exception occurred
Type: System.IO.FileNotFoundException
Message: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
-----------

On Team Foundation Server computer (Windows Server 2003 x86) it runs perfectly.

Hello,

The current version of the TFS Administration Tool does not support Team Foundation Server 2010. We are currently working on a new version of the tool which will support all versions of Team Foundation Server (Team Foundation Server 2005, Team Foundation Server 2008 and Team Foundation Server 2010 Beta 2). Please watch this space for an update on the new release of TFS Administration Tool.
