Hi,

I have downloaded latest Admin tool 2.1. It's working fine for TFS and Share point, but not for Reporting Service. Do I have to configure something else?

Thanks,

bp.

Hi,

What version of Team Foundation Server are you using? Can you share with us the contents of the "Output" window?

Thanks, Ladislau

I have the same issue. Here my output window contents.

I have tried to cleared the cache but there are now 5 folder sets that can not be deleted uner the C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Team Foundation\3.0\Cache\.

Here is the output window text surrounding the error.

Hi,

I am using TFS 2010. I am getting same error as TFSNOOB.

Getting list of users for Team Foundation Server: tfsserver\DefaultCollection, Team Project: xyz
 SharePoint site status: Available
 SharePoint version: WSS3
 PortalType: WssSite
 ReportingService.Url: http://tfsserver:8080/tfs/defaultcollection//DummyReportServiceUrl.asmx
 Reporting Services site status: Unavailable
 ReportWebServiceUrl: http://tfsserver:8080/tfs/defaultcollection/

Thanks,

The problem is caused by the fact that the ReportWebServiceUrl returned by the server is incorrect. Is there a change that you are accessing the server using "localhost" instead of the machine name? I would try deleting the client side cache as I mentioned above and restarting IIS on the Team Foundation Server application tier. By doing so, the registration information cache will be re-created. Let me know how it goes.

Thansk, Ladislau

Thanks for confirming that the issue was resolved by clearing the cache. I will create a separate discussion thread in which I will post more information about this issue.

Thanks, Ladislau
